You will be welcomed by the legendary Casanova “in person”, in his noble palace on the Grand Canal. You will have a conversation with him while sipping a glass of prosecco in his beautiful secret garden, where the filming took place for “CASANOVA” directed by Lasse Hallström (with world-class actors like HEATH LEDGER – SIENNA MILLER – JEREMY IRONS) presented at 62nd Venice International Film Festival (2005).
Casanova will tell you the story of “his” Venice, city of love and lovers, and the story of his noble palace strategically located on the Grand Canal. You will experience the beauty of the artworks and of the collections preserved inside the Palace, you will see the beautiful secret garden with its flowers and an ancient wisteria plant, the portego and the wellhead, going up to the halls of the noble floor. At the conclusion of these fascinating stories that will make you relive history and magic and also some secrets of Venetian life, you can taste a glass of prosecco, small sandwiches and homemade quiches, with family recipes.
